The History of You.
History is a continuum — one moment leading to the next, from the past to the present. Most history is written about the famous and the far away. TLCp is for the rest of it: the ordinary, irreplaceable history of a person, a family, a project — yours.
Everyone has a story worth keeping.
We believe every person should be able to leave behind their own story — for their family, for their community, or simply for whoever comes after. Not a profile or a feed, but a considered record of the moments that mattered, in your own words.
A timeline is the natural shape for it. You add events — a date, a title, a few lines, a photo — and they fall into order, building a picture of a life as it was actually lived.
It's all leading to a book.
A timeline is how you gather your history. But the reason to gather it is to hold it. Every event you write, every date and photo, is designed to become a book — a narrated telling of your life in your own words, the finished and lasting form of your story.
That's the whole point of TLCp: not another app to keep up with, but something that quietly adds up to a keepsake you can print, keep on a shelf, and pass on to the people who come after you.
Your story belongs to you.
The choice is always yours: keep your story completely private, share it with a few people you name, or release it to the world when you're ready. Nothing is public unless you decide it should be, and you can change your mind at any time.
What you write through TLCp is yours. We encourage strong passwords and your own backups, and we treat your history as exactly what it is — yours to keep.
Simple, on purpose.
A record you'll keep for decades has to be easy to write and easy to change. TLCp keeps its structure plain: add an event, edit an event, rearrange as you go. No jargon, no manual — with a little help from qChat when you'd like a first draft written from your photos.
